Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the AeroFly Ultra-Lite Wheelchair weigh?
The magnesium alloy frame has a transport weight of 13.3 lbs, which excludes the rear wheels, anti-tippers, and footrests. With the rear wheels attached, total product weight is 19 lbs.
Is the AeroFly easy to fold and store for travel?
Yes. The frame folds, the backrest folds down, and the rear wheels come off with quick release axles. Seat integrated carry handles make lifting the folded chair into a car or closet straightforward.
Can a caregiver push and brake the AeroFly, or is it only for self-propelling?
Both. The chair includes attendant brakes for caregiver-assisted use plus wheel locks for independent use, so it works either way.
Do the tires on the AeroFly need to be inflated?
No. It uses lightweight spoke wheels with treaded flat-free tires, so there is no air to maintain and no risk of a flat.
What safety features come standard on the AeroFly wheelchair?
Rear anti-tippers ship standard, along with the dual braking system and treaded flat-free tires. The European style swing away footrests use ergonomic release levers for easier transfers.
The HurryCane Go was recommended to us by physical therapists at the rehab facility after my husband had a nasty fall at home that required hospitalization. Now with home healthcare, he is using the cane and is very pleased with the Go version, since it is a solid cane rather than the foldable travel version. He's anxious to graduate from the walker to the cane and continue it's use going forward.
GREAT PRODUCT. IT'S CONFUSING. THERE IS A REGULAR ONE AND AN UPGRADE WITH A CURVED HANDLE WHICH IS BETTER. AMAZON SELLS ONE NOT BOTH. SO I ORDERED DIRECT WHICH TOOK ABOUT 10 DAYS TO GET WHICH IS PRETTY LAME THESE DAYS. STILL, WORTH IT.
Love it!!! Much easier to close when folding and less likely to lose my balance when closing it and placing in my vehicle. It took longer than expected for delivery but at least there was communication of the delay. When it was ready for shipping they sent me an email with tracking number. Thank you!
